Nancy Yarbrough is passionate about working with
college bound teens and adults. She has been working
diligently in high schools for the past fifteen years. She is a College Counselor and is the Lead Counselor at an East Contra Costa County High School in California. She currently is a Vice-President of Central Coast Region within the California Scholarship Federation. She sits on the Los Medanos College Transfer Advisory Committee Board. She is a member of the Western Association for College Admissions (WACAC) and a member of American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and a member of the National Education Association. She has been a test center supervisor for the American College Entrance Test (ACT) for the past eight years. Nancy enjoys visiting college campuses and strongly recommends all high school students to take college tours as often as possible. She believes it is very important to compare programs and talk to students who are attending the colleges to get a “feel” for the campuses.
